Your Doctor and HGH Supplements

Lets face it, your doctor has a very busy world.

Think about it, they spend the majority of their day responding to the cry of the immediacy. There is simply not enough hours in the day to treat all the sickness. They have to be exhausted.

With that in mind I have a recommended approach to opening the discussion about HGH supplementation with your doctor.

I asked my doctor one day, "Dr. Goldberg, since you left medical school who has predominantly been responsible for your pharmaceutical and supplement training?

Dr. Goldberg's answer: Drug company reps....

Not surprising but still a little shocking!

So, if you decide to have a discussion with your doctor about HGH supplementation, be prepared to be challenged.

They do not have enough time to research and be up to speed on all of the latest pharmaceuticals, let alone supplements. Their focus is on the most critical medical issues. There is a high probability that to your doctor, HGH is not a critical issue.

Quite simple, your doctor may not have the necessary research information available to speak from a knowledgeable position.

Eight times out of ten your doctor will have had very little or no direct experience with growth hormones. More than likely you'll receive a raised eyebrow when you initiate your HGH discussion.

Recommendations:

  • Go to your doctor prepared.
  • Print this and or other literature about HGH, WITH the reference page(s) which cite the specific sources of the material.
  • Have one copy for yourself and one for your doctor.
  • Ask your doctor to put their copy into your medical file for reference.
  • Then ask your doctor "When you have time would you look over this information I've gathered for you?"

You must provide your doctor with information, real information. Information that is cited so your doctor can read the actual study, trial, or review the cited references. Your doctor will have a much higher degree of trust in this approach.

Generally speaking, don't print out HGH Web site sales pages to provide your doctor, they will only disregard them. If fact your doctor is almost pathologically predisposed to instantly disregard any sales literature about anything remotely resembling medical advice.
